The City of Vancouver's Annual Greenhouse Gas and Energy Limits By-law (By-law No. 13472) requires eligible building owners to annually report energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Who Must Comply?
The Annual Greenhouse Gas and Energy Limits By-law generally applies to:
✔ Commercial buildings 50,000 square feet (4,645 m²) gross floor area or larger
✔ Multifamily residential buildings 50,000 square feet (4,645 m²) gross floor area or larger
Covered building owners are required to annually report information including:

Vancouver Reporting Deadline
Annual reports must be submitted by June 1 each year.
